About the Author:

As an ordained Catholic priest for the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, Fr. Roy Lee has had a very electric, challenging, and distinguished pastoral ministry as lecturer, educator, counselor, revivalist, retreat master, homilist and chaplain in the U.S. Air Force.  He is a noteworthy scholar with considerable graduate-school training, holding a Master’s Degree in Psychology and a PhD in Educational Leadership.

This little book is a powerful compilation of stories that share some wonderful – as well as painful – events of Fr. Roy’s personal journey, as well as several other people’s journeys.  It is only through reflection, self-conversion, and the sharing of these stories that he has evolved into his authentic self.

Fr. Roy Lee believes that our true reality comes only through Jesus on the Cross – no pain – no gain.  Unfortunately, some people take their stories to the grave – never sharing their pain and struggles with others who may have benefited from knowing of their personal journey.  Authentic love can only come through the challenges and difficulties of life.

Fr. Roy Lee has been blessed to find God within the toils and pains of life, and prays that the stories within this book will also help others to find the beauty of love within the absurd.
